Niche Cars Lotus Launch the Lotus 2 Eleven at Siam Paragon

Niche Cars Lotus Unveiled the lotus 2 Eleven at a Gala launch on Friday 22 May 2009 at the prestigious Siam paragon Shopping Complex to Sports Car enthusiast and members of the press. The evening started off with a press conferences conducted by Niche Cars Lotus managing Director Mr. Wittawat Chinabarramee, at the Niche Cars Lotus Boutique gallery on the Second Floor at Siam Paragon’s Auto Zone. After which the Lotus 2 Eleven was unveiled to the public and Press at the Hall of Mirrors on the Ground Floor at Siam Paragon.

The Lotus 2 Eleven is the first of its type in Thailand and to mark the occasion, Niche Cars Lotus had Ordered a special replica of the Original Geneva Show Car that was launched in Geneva by Lotus Cars Ltd in 2007. To make this car even more unique the entire body of the car was built out of Carbon Fiber instead of the standard factory production Carbon Composite body, Making it one of the Most unique cars in the territory and the only production Lotus 2 Eleven of its kind in the world.

The car is complete with all the trimming which includes the reliable Toyota Normally aspirated 192PS 2ZZ-GE engine including Variable Valve Timing & Lift - intelligent (VVTL-i) system . The car also sports the 290PS Supercharger Pack which increases its power from 190 to 260PS, as well as the Sports Suspension Pack and the Aero Pack, which allows the single element rear wing to be adjusted. Rounding off the option packs on this unique car is the Track Day pack.

Built on 60 years of Lotus’ successes in Formula one and British Racing History, the Lotus 2 Eleven is truly an out the box racing car that allows track enthusiasts and race car drivers to get onto the race track without having to pre set the car for racing conditions. Allowing a safe and reliable platform for beginner track racing drivers to gain confidence on the track quickly, as well as give Advanced Racing drivers a reliable car to really compete on the track with.
